2011.12.31 - Leaving RI
This is my best friend Danielle and I! (She married my other best friend, Thomas, from middle school!) They both live in Rhode Island and I miss them.
The second picture is of Thomas (on the right) and their friend Eric. Eric was one of Danielle’s bridesmaids… bridesmen? He was the only bridesman among the bridesmaids, but the priest wouldn’t let him stand on her side. But that’s what he was, despite his position on the groom’s side!
2010.07.10 - bachelor/ette party
Donate some money and I’ll draw something (whatever you want, or leave that up to me) for you!
Woke up, brother had his girlfriend over & they (and my parents) were gonna get donuts/kolaches, so I tagged along. Then showered just in time to get to the tux fitting, got pulled away from friends’ company so my brother could get a present for a wedding later that afternoon, waited around………. met up with Thomas, Danielle and their friends Brad & Eric at Buffalo Wild Wings (just after eating with my parents, so I just had a desert) and listened to Brad’s tales of being a cop for some school - middle or high, I forget which. Hanging out in public, I couldn’t relax fully (the steel chairs weren’t that comfortable either).
Thomas and Danielle went to pre-marriage counseling to make sure they’re compatible (hooray - they are!) and it came out circuitously that Danielle worries about Thomas’ semi-homosexual tendencies. :) He’s a fabulous man, I cannot lie. Scruffy, but fabulous. Oh, if you think about “The Game,” you lose. You cannot win The Game, and if/when you lose, you must make another person lose. The point of The Game is to get the whole world to play. After losing, you have 30 minutes to talk about or remember the game without losing again, just to make things fair.
Background on the last panel: Emily and I used to be best friends until, I let her know how I felt about her. She said she didn’t feel the same and I, in a pitiful attempt to “get over it” spent much of the following months locked away, working on school ‘til I graduated. I’m terrible at all things relationship-related. :(
